The Grubhub Procurement organization is looking for an experienced procurement professional with supplier lifecycle and/or risk management experience to build Grubhub’s Supplier Onboarding & Lifecycle process.  This individual will assess the current supplier onboarding process, assess for optimization opportunities, present a proposed solution, execute the change, and manage the day to day flow of suppliers.  In addition, per CCPA and GDPR regulations, this individual will be responsible for understanding and documenting data privacy and sharing with our suppliers per criteria set by our parent company, Just Eat Takeaway’s Data Processing Addendum.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Evaluate current GH supplier onboarding and offboarding processes & tools
  • Propose and implement new processes that encompass, at a minimum, supplier onboarding, offboarding, risk management, compliance, and workflow & approvals
  • Execute locally, the global company standards to satisfy regulatory requirements around data privacy and sharing
  • Create and maintain a centralized supplier lifecycle in which vendor data is reconciled with Accounts Payable and Purchasing databases
  • Hire and manage a team of analysts to manage the supplier onboarding and approval process
  • Interact directly with suppliers, as appropriate, to ensure the appropriate information is gathered and assessed prior to onboarding approval
  • Develop a Supplier lifecycle management process including Onboarding and Offboarding to ensure our supply relationships are extracted from Grubhub systems when we are no longer working with them
  • Identify, on a regular cadence, maverick spend that did not run through the established Supplier Onboarding process
  • Develop policy and procedure, as appropriate, to support the developed processes
  • Develop communications, as appropriate, to ensure the process and policy are understood by the stakeholder base
  • Own the sponsored tools and software to support the process
  • Provide strategic level thinking, supplier management leading practices, and continuous improvement ideas to ensure best in class processes
  • Regularly interface with stakeholders to ensure our processes meet the needs of the business as well as satisfies changing regulatory requirements

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5 plus years related experience in Finance, Supply Chain / Procurement, or Business Process Improvement
  • 2+ years prior management or equivalent leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Supplier Risk Management, specializing in data security and privacy
  • Demonstrated experience with Procurement and/or Supplier specific processes
  • Demonstrated communication and project management skills working with cross-functional teams across levels within the organization
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment; self-motivated; strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to process large amounts of often complex data; detail oriented, self starter
  • Ability to establish and monitor policies and guidelines 
  • Working knowledge of procurement systems and e-sourcing tools
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office  (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Project)
  • Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with working with remote teams
  • Knowledge of SaaS architecture, automation tools, scripting and API integration
  • Knowledge of compliance and audit frameworks such as ISO27XXX, AICPA SOC1/2, etc.
