More About the Role

As a Web Developer in the marketing web development team, you will be building, maintaining and scaling web applications to support all marketing channels on the Grubhub platform. You will be working with web developers and technology leaders to design and maintain web applications. You will be partnering with marketing, product, UX design and SEO teams to take Grubhub marketing experience to the next level. • Understand the domain needs and develop highly-available, fault-tolerant features for our web applications 
• Be accountable for delivery, deployment, maintenance, monitoring the performance of the application and the platform
• Write code with defined standards, review the code of peers, use security standards in the code and be able to measure the performance of the features
• Collaborate with the marketing, design and technology teams to deliver features that increase the offerings & efficiency of our systems
• Be a proponent for improving our platform, processes, and tools.

• 1+ years of experience building scalable interactive web applications
• Knowledge of WordPress and PHP
• Knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS Framework. Familiarity with Typescript is a plus!
• Experience with HTML and CSS. Familiarity with SASS & LESS is a plus!
• Familiar with Agile methodologies
• Familiar with Git/GitHub and development tools like PhpStorm/IntelliJ/VS Code
• Ability to work with UX designers and provide feedback when necessary
• Experience with integrating CRM, Salesforce and monitoring tools is a plus
