The Impact You Will Make

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for coaching and working with our campus and merchant partners to address any issues that may arise. From investigating equipment issues to identifying bugs, troubleshootings our hardware, working with stakeholders to solve complex problems, building out what our shops/menus will look like. Becoming a knowledge expert will allow you to achieve success. Travel will be required for this role when needed during a campus launch of highly escalated troubleshooting. 

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop deep expertise in Campus Dining on GH's systems and equipment
  • Create an exceptional, personalized service experience for Campus Dining on GH partners
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot our product
  • Identify thematic issues real-time and escalate to appropriate internal teams
  • Make recommendations based on feature requests and bugs reported by users or partners
  • Document all issues 
  • Great communicator and able to explain instructions thoroughly
  • Resolves tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity
  • Maintains system functionality by testing our product components
  • Helps design and implement menus by building out our shops we help to troubleshoot
  • Consults with users to determine appropriate hardware and software needs and assists in placing orders
  • Maximizes our product by studying technical applications and making recommendations
  • Installs updates and configure features for workflow
  • Prepares reference material for users by drafting operation guides
  • Create menus and edit existing merchant information 
  • Advise Campus dining merchants on menu offerings, visibility, and areas that need optimization. This requires you to be analytical but also pragmatic when it comes to finding incremental solutions that can show immediate value 
  • Dive in and contribute to other business areas as needed/appropriate

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 2-3 years of experience in a operations or tech troubleshooting role 
  • Excellent written language skills, including spelling, grammar, syntax, and other mechanics
  • Basic networking skills
  • Analysis skills
  • Application Support
  • Ability to reset routers
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of network configurations
  • Operations system knowledge
  • Deep understanding in testing/training different technical tools
  • Extra credit if you have experience in writing in Redash 
  • Patience and resilience in difficult troubleshooting
  • The ability to work and learn independently, as well as collaborate with larger teams
  • An uncanny knack for spotting tiny errors
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfort with technical systems, both familiar and unfamiliar

Vaccination Requirement: Grubhub employees are required to be fully vaccinated, and must be able to show proof of full-Covid-19 vaccination, and booster if eligible, prior to starting employment. Fully vaccinated is defined as: “2 weeks have passed since your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.” Those eligible to receive the booster must receive the booster to be considered fully vaccinated, and those not yet eligible will be required to obtain the booster once eligible (6 months post last dose).
